Invite People to Events

Access to Events are determined by the permission levels you choose to set, you can find out more about those here. Note: You will need to be an 'Organiser' of the Event to do this.

Generating Ticket Links:

The easiest way to invite people to your Event is to share an Invite Link with them.

To generate a Ticket Link:

  • Click 'Customise' on the Event header and head to the 'Tickets' section of the menu that'll appear on the left-hand side.
  • You'll be able to see Ticket Links as well as the full list of Tickets already issued - if you haven't issued any yet, you'll just see yourself as the sole organiser.
  • In the Ticket Links area, there's an option to add links '+ Add Link' on the right-hand side. Click on the button and a screen will popup with an option to select the a date that the invite link will be valid until, and the number of users who can join the Event using that link.
  • After filling in your preferences, hit 'Create' and your link will go live, you can copy any link to share by clicking on the ellipsis next to the link and selecting (you guessed it) 'Copy' for quick and easy distribution.
  • You'll also be able to see all previous links and the number of times it had been used. For old links that you don't want anymore, you can declutter by clicking the three dots and selecting the the 'Remove' option.
  • Make sure to let people know if any links are no longer in circulation, a deleted link won't work for anyone who might be trying to use it to join.

Inviting Tevent Members:

If you're inviting members who are already on Tevent, then you can also invite them directly by going to the 'Send Ticket(s)' button, under the 'Tickets' heading.

Search for the user, or users, you want to add and issue their tickets with just a click. Very Handy.

You can also decide member roles (organiser/ staff/ attendee) for each of them from the drop down list beside their name. Learn more about Event roles here. Or head here to brush up on Creating an Event.
