Invite People to Spaces

If your Space is open to anyone on Tevent, you can share the Space URL directly with anyone you want to invite — drop it on socials, put it on a billboard, hand out flyers in your local area, for example.

If not, it'll probably be best to share an Invite Link, that you can distribute to people more directly. Note: you'll need to be a 'Manager' of a Space to do this.

Generating Invite Links:

First things first, head to your Space, then:

  • On the left-hand sidebar, click on 'Members'. Now, in the main navigation section, you will be able to see Invite Links, Added Members and Invited Members for the Space.
  • Under 'Invite Links', you'll see an option to add links '+ Add Link', where you'll be able to pick how long the link will be valid for, and for how many users.
  • As always, hit 'create' and your link will be ready to go - you can copy it quickly by clicking the three dots on the right-hand side.
  • You will be able to see all previous links, and the number of times it had been used, in the Invite Links area of the Members screen.
  • In the same menu, you can also remove any links that have already been created. Naturally, only use this for expired links (or ones you don't want anymore) as the deleted link won't work for anyone who might be trying to use it to join.

Adding Tevent Members:

If you're inviting members who are already on Tevent, you can invite them directly by clicking on the 'Invite' button under the 'Members' heading. On the screen that pops-up, search for the user, or multiple users, you want to add, you can also assign the member roles (member/ manager) for each of them from the drop down list beside their name. Once done, hit the Add button and really bask in the feeling.

Loved the experience? Hated it? We'd love to know more - leave us your feedback by following these steps.
